Krista Kennell is one of Southern California's most versatile editorial photographers, regularly pivoting between the worlds of social documentation, celebrity red carpet, travel and high fashion in her 15 years of using a camera to explore life around the world. She currently covers the west coast as a staff photojournalist for Sipa Press, a French photography agency.

Krista studied photography at the University of Missouri Columbia's journalism program under some of the profession's strongest leaders and innovators. She's also worked as a picture editor for the photo world's most prestigious agencies: Associated Press, Getty Images, Corbis and ZUMA Press.

From her Hollywood base, Krista covers Los Angeles as well as San Diego, Santa Barbara, and northern California. Her pictures are regularly published in major national and international magazines, newpapers and television. Her work on the California wildfires was widely praised and was published prominently in Time magazine and other publications.
